With its epic soundtrack, an excellent wardrobe, and an unforgettable plot, 'Do Revenge' epitomize an average high school senior year while subtly serving us feminist swagger. Packed with muted yet sassy jabs at woke culture and privilege, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson maintains its integrity as a chick-flick by delivering the classic makeover montage, coupled with several trauma-dumping monologues and a succession of hair-whipping turns.

Transforming the Popular-Mean-Alpha girl and Alt-Gay-Beta girl tropes, Robinson doesn't play on the girl-against-girl mentality, allowing Drea (Camilla Mendes) and Eleanor (Maya Hawke) to display equally their capacity to be genuine psychopaths. It stitches a plot similar to Alfred Hitchcock's 'Strangers on A Train' into a Heathers-Esque dark, high-school dramedy (sans the gruesomeness).
