Speak Now
you can never be overdressed or overeducated
Well-behaved women may seldom make history, but well-informed women can always choose to.
While Frivolous (obviously) fully supports frivolity and the joie de vivre that comes with it, we also understand and respect the importance of many conversations which are deemed frivolous but are more impactful than we might assume. Our site was created to balance things that only impact those to whom they are of interest and things that should mean something to everyone. Encouraging frivolity in a healthy way means balancing it with knowledge of more substantial subjects and causes. Recognizing the significance of more frivolous aspects of life does not mean we should dilute the importance of more serious aspects of life.  Frivolous is here to create a space where voices are heard and people are encouraged to speak. We want you to balancing reading Cosmopolitan with the New York Times. Wearing fashionable clothing with being sustainable, getting your nails done but carrying someone's groceries, putting cucumbers on your eyes yet, looking out for the needs of others. We want to let you know that it's okay to be frivolous but we also want you to know what's happening in the world. We will be using this page to update you on weekly headlines so that you are aware of all current events and know when to help. In a world where change is so rapid, it is vital that we learn to act and not let moments pass. Being aware ensures that you will know when you are saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and more importantly when it's the right time to speak up. We want you to have the knowledge to not have to look back and wish you had said something. Speak Now is not just an incredible album, it's what you need to do.
